The above are just 5 (from Baillieston St Andrew's church) of the 17,000 participants on the Glasgow 'Race for Life'
Its believed that the total raised was in excess of £800,000 and may well have topped £1,000.000 for a single day's fund raising activity.
This is by far the largest gathering in any city in the United Kingdom for a 'Breast Cancer - Race For Life' organised event. So much for the Scot's being mean!
